Maddie and I got to visit DreamWorks Land before it opened to the public on our last Universal Orlando trip! We loved so many aspects of the new Land 😍
I was able to get us a passholder preview of this land on Memorial Day… we got to check it out in the evening of Memorial Day before it opened to the public. We tried a few new snacks, rode the Trollercoaster, and explored the area. We went back 2 days later while it was in technical rehearsals and got to watch the new show and eat the Shrek ice pop… both were amazing! On the last day of our trip, we went back in the evening and tried the Donkey ice pop, and Maddie got the pink lemonade soft serve from the trolls ice cream kiosk.
We still haven’t done the interactive experience with Po in the back, but it looks awesome, and I look forward to it on our next visit. We tried almost all the new snacks over the course of the week, and my favorites were the Shrekzel, the Shrek ice pop, and the swamp dirt dessert. Maddie also loved the pink lemonade soft serve… I liked it, but that wasn’t my favorite. The pink lemonade soft serve tasted like key lime yogurt to me… not bad, but I don’t love yogurt.
